Hello to all and Happy Spring!!  The flowers are finally starting to bloom here in Michigan. 

It is early April and time to begin thinking about Dayton!!  Last year we offered two group stitching projects (“St1tch” based on a kit by Hinseit and “Winter Quilt” from Nancy’s Needle & Co.) and those who worked on these projects really seemed to enjoy it – and some even have one or both finished and framed!!  We also had several new gals join us with a variety of projects that included, knitting, crocheting, tatting, quilting, cross stitching, reading and chatting as well as shopping!! 

This year, after chatting with many of you, we have decided that rather than offering a specific project, we will each bring one (or many) of the projects that we already have to work on, show off, seek advice on, etc. in attempt to reduce the number of UFOs (UnFinished prOjects) that we all seem to have accumulated.   

We are also asking, that if you have any craft magazines, kits, patterns, or even books that you are willing to put on our “free swap table” this might be a fun way to “change up” your current stash/library. 

If you haven’t attended one of our St1tch gatherings before, please come and join us. 

It is the diversity of our interests and personalities that help this group to flourish – and who knows you might just end up finding a new interest and making some new friends! 

Meeting Place at Dayton – Hank Kohl (K8DD) is working with the Holiday Inn to provide our "st1tching" group with a meeting room at Dayton. – It will be in the Kitty Hawk room, beside the Ballroom, next to where it was last year, only 42 steps to the tavern in the Holiday Inn.  More details will be provided later.
